Music is the sound of the universe. It is frequency in form. It is magic. It is the sound of love. It is truly the universal language that knows no border and can unite people from all cultures and walks of life. It has been my saving grace. Music has always been the soundtrack to my life. It has guided me through some of my biggest challenges in and it has brought me the most joy. Trying to describe my “style” of music in words feels as futile as trying to explain the texture of snow or the taste of chocolate. For me it’s like this with all styles of music. I love to sing Buddhist, Hindu and Sihk mantras. I also write songs in Spanish, having lived in South America for two years. Some of my songs in english are irreverent and comical, some are deep reflections on my life lesson I’ve received that I hold close to my heart and try to live up to. It’s my prayer that these songs touch the hearts they are meant to.
